As we continue to flourish and extend our reach, we're in search of an experienced and devoted Director of Construction to join our ranks and propel our construction operations to new heights.


We're seeking a seasoned Director of Construction to oversee our team of Project Managers throughout the region. You'll be at the helm of all facets of our residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will boast extensive experience in construction management, with a proven track record of delivering single-family attached and detached residential projects on time and within budget. Stellar leadership and communication skills are a must. Safety and quality are our guiding principles, and in this role, you'll ensure that all work adheres to the highest standards while fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Construction Management:
  • Lead and supervise all aspects of construction projects.
  • Oversee Project Managers, skilled tradespeople, and contractors.
  • Ensure work is completed to high-quality standards within timelines and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trades.
  • Ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols at construction sites.
  • Prioritize the well-being of the team and partners.
  • Reporting:
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, financials, and issues to senior management.
  • Facilitate transparency and informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of construction management experience with a residential homebuilder
  • Proven track record of delivering residential projects on time and within budget.
  • Thorough understanding of construction technology, practices, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including purchase orders, change orders, and scheduling.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Full-time position.
  • Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 + Bonus, commensurate with experience.
